Family veterinarians are not considered pharmacies, and legally cannot accept outside prescriptions from other veterinarians. You are welcome to reach out to them to see if they would be comfortable filling the medication, as they do receive all of our notes/letters with our treatment recommendations. If they have questions, they are free to reach out to us and we are happy to discuss your pet's case with them further. Another option would be for us to mail the medication to you.
